Things to do in NY

Since so many people have asked me for things to do in NYC, I finally compiled a list of all the places that I've been to or places that I'd like to try.  My short commentary is included as well.  This may be a bit outdated since it's been a few years since I've lived there, but people are still asking me so I thought this would be helpful. 

I loved living in NYC, and I still love visiting it.  I hope you have a good time there!

New York City Travel - I've used this one a few times myself

nycgo.com - haven't used this before

Time Out New York - I love their magazine!

NYMag - has some pretty good articles

Menupages - used this one before too

Of course, you can always use Citysearch, Zagat, and Yelp.

And if you need help mapping out how to get to places

HopStop.com - it's like mapquest but for subways and busses

mta.info (Manhattan Transit Authority) - you can look at the subway map, bus maps, and fares.
