It's happened a few times where I'm traveling or not at home and I wanted to cook some good old-fashioned Taiwanese food.  I'm no chef and I don't cook as regularly as I want to.  In fact I'm not even that great of a cook and don't have a lot of the recipes memorized like my mother or my friends who love to cook.  Regardless, I know how to cook, and I can do it so that I won't starve to death.  It's rather difficult to find Taiwanese food recipes in English online, so I thought how great it might be if I put all the recipes I know online so when I'm craving home-cooked Taiwanese food, wherever I might be in the world I can make some (provided that I can get the ingredients).
